For a destination wedding we recommend starting 9 to 12 months ahead (or more). The best peak-season venues and vendors book up early, and planning ahead lets you fit in visits, tastings and logistics without stress.

A local planner is gold when you organise from afar: they know the spaces, the vendors and the timings, and coordinate the day so you only have to enjoy. We work side by side with planners to fit the cake and dessert table into the timeline.
Choosing trusted vendors from a distance
Look for vendors used to working with couples from abroad: who reply clearly, who show their work and who offer ways to decide without being present (video calls, visual proposals, tastings arranged during your visits).
The cake and dessert table at a destination wedding
The sweet moment is one of the most photographed of the wedding. A designer cake, a carefully styled dessert table or a signature Bakery Corner round off the experience. We design the piece from your references and coordinate it with the venue's aesthetic.
Tastings when you live abroad
We arrange the tasting for one of your pre-wedding visits to Granada or for the days close to the wedding. That way you try sponges and fillings in person and we tune the flavours before the big day.
Summer and heat: a practical note
Granada gets hot in summer. We choose fillings and finishes that hold up in the heat, take care with transport and set the cake up as close as possible to the cutting moment. Logistics are part of the design too.
